Can your star player maintain Attention on his opponent?
How strong is the squad leader’s Attention Performance when faced with distractions?
Is the subject’s Attention easily diverted from the task at hand?

Attention is the cognitive process of selectively concentrating on one aspect of the environment while ignoring other things. Susceptibility to distraction can greatly reduce task focus, productivity and performance.

Performance Tracking:
Evaluate a subject’s Attention Performance with the HeadRehab Attention Performance Module. The software captures data on a subject’s ability to maintain Attention during a series of tasks performed in a virtual environment. This data can be a snapshot of Attention Performance on a particular day or gathered regularly to build a comprehensive look at a subject’s Attention Performance over a period of time.

Test Outline:
The subject is placed within a Virtual Reality environment where the software presents tasks that challenge the ability to maintain Attention. The user administers the test by initiating the program and the software then the presents the Attention Performance tasks to the user and captures response data.
The Attention Performance test is a total of 15 minutes.

Results:
Following successful completion of the tests, the software generates a relative Attention Performance score. These Performance scores can be compared to the results of other team members or test subjects and can also be compared to the individual’s own Attention Performance over time.

Results include Attention deficit identification and measurement.
  • Evaluate Attention Performance during tasks with varying degrees of distraction and complexity.
  • Detect abnormalities in Attention Performance that often pass undetected in standard cognitive and physical tests.
  • See a complete report of the athlete’s Attention Performance with the HeadRehab Reporting module.
  • The Attention Performance results can be combined with other HeadRehab Performance test results to build a Comprehensive Report of the subject’s Neurocognitive Performance.
Who can administer the Attention Performance test?
HeadRehab’s user-friendly software menus make the Performance software easy to use. The tests can be administered by anyone with a basic knowledge of computers. Onscreen instructions and User Manuals are included with the software for quick reference. HeadRehab also offers training on using the software.
