Balance is a component of nearly every physical activity we perform. Make sure your team is well Balanced.Performance Tracking:
Evaluate a subject’s Balance Performance with the HeadRehab Balance Performance Module. The software captures data on a subject’s Balance accuracy and response time during a series of tasks performed in a virtual environment. This data can be a snapshot of Balance Performance on a particular day or gathered regularly to build a comprehensive look at a subject’s Balance Performance over a period of time.
Test Outline:
The subject is placed within a Virtual Reality environment where the software challenges Balance performance. The user administers the test by initiating the program and the software then the presents the Balance tasks to the user and captures response data. The Balance Performance test is comprised of fifteen (15) interrelated Balance trials for a total test time of 10 minutes.
Results:
Following successful completion of the tests, the software generates a relative score for each subject. These scores can be compared to the results of other team members or test subjects and can also be compared to the individual’s own Balance Performance over time.
Results include Balance deficit identification and measurement.
- Evaluate Balance capability – measure natural response of the body at 2 mhz amplitude of movement.
- Detect abnormalities in Balance Performance that often pass undetected in standard cognitive and physical tests.
- See a complete report of the athlete’s Balance Performance with the HeadRehab Reporting module.
- The Balance Performance results can be combined with other HeadRehab Performance test results to build a Comprehensive Report of the subject’s Neurocognitive Performance.
Who can administer the Balance Performance Test?
HeadRehab’s user-friendly software menus make the Performance software easy to use. The tests can be administered by anyone with a basic knowledge of computers. Onscreen instructions and User Manuals are included with the software for quick reference. HeadRehab also offers training on using the software.
